Lido adds a route to higher-balance validators.

The new CSM module allocates stake in stages. A maximum balance is not a current balance.

What changed

Lido announced a 0x02 Community Staking Module for validators with a maximum effective balance of 2,048 ETH. Seed deposits precede later top-ups, and the rollout starts with limited capacity. The existing 0x01 module remains available.

Why it matters

An announced capacity ceiling does not prove that funds have already been allocated. When reading a staking position, separate validator operation, withdrawal control and observed deposits.
