  1. 01

    Assets enter a pool

  2. 02

    The pool updates its accounting

  3. 03

Tokens or liquidity shares are issued

The investigation question

Is the movement a swap or a liquidity change?

Identify the specific pool implementation. Compare its calls, emitted events and token changes, keeping liquidity shares separate from the underlying assets.

What this guide does not establish

No single pool rule applies to every Curve deployment. An apparent imbalance needs transaction-specific context before it becomes a finding.
